Well another year older and another year wiser. Right? Well for some it maybe just another year older. With the 2012 now gone and 2013 standing on the horizon I thought it appropriate to sit down and contemplate some of the things I want to accomplish in 2013. I tend to bite off a bit more than I can chew at times so don't hate if the following goals feel slightly outlandish, but I am of the opinion that I'd rather shoot for the moon and land among the stars.

1. Blog at least 3 times a week for all 52 weeks of 2013

This one is relevant to you all readers. I can at times be hot and cold with my writing. I will go for streaks of 15 consecutive days posting then have 3 months of inactivity. Part of this is because of school, but if I am being completely honest I can make more time to write and blog if I make it a priority. So for 2013 I want to set a weekly schedule for writing, editing, and posting. I want to make sure that anyone who is looking for information can find it here on a regular basis.

2. Perform 312 Training Sessions in 2013

In 2012 I made it to 275 training sessions which is just a little more than 5 times a week. This wasn't a let down as the program I had written for my self called for two days rest each week. I will admit at times I didn't follow the program to the "T". I tend to get carried away on with intensity even in "light" workouts. So I decided instead of trying to fight myself to not train more often I am going to use my motivation to train in my favor. I have planned a program that allows me to perform 6 training sessions each week. I wouldn't recommend everyone training with such frequency this is just a goal unique to me.

3. Read for Pleasure At Least One Hour a Day

This is something I have started doing in the past two weeks since being off from school. I usually break up the hour into shorter sessions throughout the day, but if nothing else I get it in before bed. I believe this has been one of the best habits I could have begun. I have felt more satisfied and more intellectually stimulated. I plan to continue this throughout the new year.

There you have it 3 of my goals for 2013. I have a laundry list of them to work my way through, but I wanted to share a few publicly. I hope you all had a kickass 2012 and even better 2013.
