What up! The week is upon us! My Monday has barreled down on me today and I got to get heading back to the gym for the evening group of clients.

Thus I don't have much time this week to fill you in on the miscellany going on in steve's world, but I would like to share my most recent PR from earlier this morning.

I don't mean to brag. I just hope that my PR's might inspire some other people to hit some of their own today.

Here is this week's list of stuff to read:

1. How to Know When You're Ready for the Gym by Jen Sinkler

Read it. Please! It is worth every second you spend on it.

2. How to Do a Bent Press by Jen Sinkler

I like lifts with a bit of novelty to them. It is nice to be able to break the mold from time to time and have fun with things you don't do regularly. This is a great tutorial on how to do one of these such lifts.

3. Are You Part of the Resistance (or the Assistance)? by Travis Pollen

Need a bunch of ideas about how to use bands in your training? Yeah then this piece has everything you could want. I'd highly recommend doing some reading as well on the author. Super motivating and inspirational dude.

4. Hollywood Muscle is Awesome - But You're Not by Bryan Krahn

Mr. Krahn is calling you out on this one. I like it. It's kind of a "hey you should maybe raise your own standards for yourself" piece. You may disagree, but I think this side of the argument is worth being said.
